1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InvoicesFox at invoicesfox.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and registered account holders. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2 Description of Service

InvoicesFox is a web-based invoice generation platform that allows users to:

  • Create, customise, and download professional PDF invoices
  • Manage client and business information
  • Track invoice history and payment status
  • Generate tax-compliant invoices with multiple currency and tax rate support
  • Access premium features through paid subscription plans

Core features are provided free of charge. Premium features require a subscription. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3 User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorised access or security breach
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour.

4 Acceptable Use

You agree to use InvoicesFox only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Service to create fraudulent, false, or misleading invoices
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, servers, or databases
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful files
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform's operations
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others

5 Subscriptions and Payments

For premium subscriptions:

  • Fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe or PayPal — we do not store card details
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • We offer a refund where required by law or as stated in our refund policy
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

6 Intellectual Property

The InvoicesFox platform, including its software, design, logos, and content, is owned by InvoicesFox and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the invoice data you enter. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.

You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the InvoicesFox platform without our express written permission.

7 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Any defects or errors will be corrected
  • The Service meets your specific business or legal requirements
  • Invoices generated constitute legal or tax advice

You are responsible for ensuring that your invoices comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your business. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified accountant or tax advisor.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoicesFox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of revenue, profits, or business
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Tax penalties arising from incorrectly prepared invoices
  • Third-party claims resulting from your use of the Service

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

9 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
